Meet the Secretariat

Annabel Zecchel

SECRETARY-GENERAL

Having previously served as Chargée D’Affaires for CONMUN 2023, and a second-year member of CED, Annabel first started Model UN in CEGEP, where she discovered her passion for public speaking and learning about international relations. Outside of Model UN, Annabel is a second year Software Engineering student and can be found working away in the library on her never-ending coding projects, or on the hunt for Montréal’s best matcha latte.

Aiya Trimm

DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Having previously served as a committee staffer for CONMUN 2023, Aiya found Model United Nations by accident at the Fall Clubs Fair. Wanting to leave her comfort zone, she became a first-year member of the Concordia External Delegation, with the goal of improving her public speaking and presentation skills for business. Thanks to Model UN, she developed a keen interest for diplomacy and negotiation too. Outside of MUN, Aiya is a second-year Economics major at JMSB, and can be found cooking up a storm or speed walking around campus, permanently dressed in western business attire.

Yianni Stroumbakis

DIRECTOR OF EQUITY

Erik Oldland

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

A second year member of the Concordia External Delegation and four year MUN veteran, Erik's interest in international relations and cooperation is longstanding. Apart from MUN, many sports -especially rugby and skiing-, debate, and reading are some of his many passions. Erik is a second year economics major with extensive experience in Finance.

Constantina Vossos

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

As a member of the Concordia External Delegation for the second year, and having previously been a vice-chair for a GA for CONMUN 2023, Constantina first started Model United Nations in CÉGEP, where she became interested in working with others on various international (and at times, imaginative) issues, as well as improving important skills useful in Model UN and in the future. Other than being a Model UN delegate, she is a second-year Communications major who also enjoys drawing and animating nonstop for hours at a time, and wandering around Montreal looking for cool unknown places and shops to expand her trinket collection.

Liam Doran

DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Liam began as a Model United Nations delegate during high school and continued it into CEGEP. Enjoying the debate, discussion, and engaging atmosphere, Liam later joined the Concordia External Delegation in the 2022-23 academic year, after one of its members convinced him to try out for the team. Aside from Model UN, Liam is entering his fourth year as a Political Science student at Concordia while working on a minor in Chinese language and culture (with a particular interest in the food). We are pleased to have him on board as this year's Director of Events!

Rosalie Gauthier

DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Rosalie has now been on the Model UN circuit for the past four years and has now been in Concordia External Delegation for two years! Through MUN, she has developed and honed important skills, such as debate, research and strategy but most importantly, delved into foreign policy and international law. Beyond MUN, Rosalie is a second-year law student, who that takes interest in a broad range of issues, both local and international. In her free time, she can be found watching comedies, taking walks, and discovering new pastries. Rosalie is excited to work with secretariat and daises to create memorable committees where delegates will have an intellectually stimulating experience!

Noah Leve

UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL COMMITTEES

With three years of Model UN experience, Noah is thrilled to be working as a USG in the 2024 edition of CONMUN. This is his first time on a MUN secretariat and he is relishing the opportunity to be working with such devoted people. Outside of MUN, he is a third year student in political science and communications. In his spare time, when he is not procrastinating with online chess problems, he enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with his french bulldog. Being from Montreal, he is more than willing to talk with you about this wonderful city including the heated bagel debate (there is no debate really, St-Viateur is the best).

Cleo Bennett

UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL COMMITTEES

Going into her third year of Model UN, Cleo is ecstatic to be serving as one of the USG of Committees for CONMUN 2024. She was previously the ACD for CONMUN 2022 and a crisis staffer for CONMUN 2023. Outside of Model UN, Cleo is studying Political Science and Law and Society at Concordia and can be found writing essays in a nearby pub. You can also find her attending dance classes, re-learning how to play the guitar and re-reading her comfort books.
