Meet the Secretariat

Rosalie L. Gauthier

SECRETARY-GENERAL

Previously USG and DG for ConMUN as well as a third-year member of CED, Rosalie has been on the North American Model UN circuit for the past several years, which helped her developed and honed important skills, such as debate, research and strategy but most importantly, delved into foreign policy and international law. Beyond MUN, Rosalie is a third-year law student, who takes interest in a broad range of issues, both local and international. In her free time, she can be found listening to music, taking walks, and yapping over a good pastry. Rosalie is excited to welcome everyone to the seventh iteration of ConMUN, hoping that the conference is a memorable growth experience!

Cleo Bennett

DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Going into her fourth year of Model UN, Cleo is ecstatic to be serving as ConMUN’s DG. She was previously the ACD for CONMUN 2022 and a crisis staffer for CONMUN 2023 as well as a USG for ConMUN 2024. Outside of Model UN, Cleo is studying Political Science and Law and Society at Concordia and can be found writing essays in a nearby pub. You can also find her attending dance classes, re-learning how to play the guitar and learning how to crochet - if you have any patterns, please let her know!

To Be Announced Soon

DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Alexandru Albu

DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Alexandru studies Political Science and International Development, with the goal to attend law school after. His favourite aspects of MUN are the late night hangouts in a hotel room with his teammates and the spontaneous 3 AM trips in the city during conferences. Some say that nothing good happens after 2 AM, but he thinks that that is when the dearest memories form. Alexandru dabbles in music production from time to time. Finally, the things he most eagerly awaits about ConMUN 2025 are our Friday and Saturday night socials (keep an eye on this page to know more).

To Be Announced Soon

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Océane Piquion-Pierre

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Océane joined the Model UN circuit 2 years ago : in that short amount of time, she has truly fallen head over heels in love with Model UN. As an extroverted theater fan, nothing makes her feel more alive than delivering a dramatic and engaging speech to make heads turn and get her point across. Océane is a crisis delegate as she thrives the fast paced chaos. When she's not daydreaming, randomly coming up with arc ideas in the shower or baking sweet treats, Océane devotes herself to her studies as a first-year Concordia University undergraduate student pursuing a major in Sociology and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies in Sexuality. This year, she excitedly joins the ConMUN 2025 secretariat as Director of Marketing and cannot wait to assist her team when organizing a conference she has loved in the past.

Peter Salame

DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Previous Chair and current associate External Director, Peter commences his third year in the Model United Nations Circuit. What fascinates him most about MUN, is how people from different ethnicities and cultures all join and intertwine together to create one mighty team. Aside from CGAA, Peter Salame is currently completing his last year as a Data Scientist at Concordia University. Peter is usually found at his natural habitat (the library) contemplating all his life decisions that have led him to running a code 50 times without knowing what’s wrong with it. On the physical aspect of his life, he takes interest in sports such as basketball, Padel, and Mixed Martial Arts. He is thrilled to have the privilege of organizing your social events and urges you to attend each and every one to have the fullest CONMUN Experience!

Museyib Ahmadov

UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL COMMITTEES

Museyib Ahmadov is a second-year student majoring in Political Science and International Development. What he likes about MUN is the collaboration and the opportunity to deliver crises-improvised speeches. Fluent in English, French, Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani, Museyib's linguistic prowess enhances his ability to navigate diverse environments. He is particularly excited about his dream committee, Minecraft Crisis, for ConMun 2025, reflecting his innovative spirit and passion for MUN.

Emanuel Louis

UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL COMMITTEES

Emanuel is in his final year studying Medicine. He first discovered his passion for Model UN back in 2017. Since then, he has participated in numerous conferences as a delegate, a staffer, and a secretariat member. Most notably, he completed his mandate as Director of Committees for ConMUN 2023. He also had the opportunity to fulfill the role of Chair during ConMUN 2021 and ConMUN 2024. Aside from secretariat, Emanuel is involved this year with the Concordia External Delegation as its Head Delegate. When he is not complaining about his rotations, you can find him getting involved with medical student advocacy groups such as the Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec (FMEQ). Beyond his everlasting quest for a normal sleep schedule, he is often on the lookout for food joints, and can be seen indulging in a much-needed iced coffee or bubble tea while listening to music.

Derek Rodriguez Chaouviere

UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL COMMITTEES

Derek is a French-Mexican business student at Concordia. He loves all things cooking, Formula 1 (winky face), and excercising (he qualifies as a gymbro). Now onto a serious note, Derek started his MUN career last September not really knowing what he was getting himself into, but after a year of Model UN he is proud to be your USG for the 2025 CONMUN edition. He is excited to present a committee slate that aims to bring an exhilarating wide range of topics that will challenge delegates in all aspects of their talents.

Emma Quỳnh Liên Wong

DIRECTOR OF EQUITY

Introducing Emma Quỳnh Liên Wong, ConMUN 2025’s Director of Equity! Proudly Vietnamese and Chinese, she finds the preservation of her culture incredibly important. The languages she speaks reflect this desire, as she speaks English, Vietnamese, and French, and is currently pursuing a double major co-op program in Political Science and Liberal Arts at Concordia University. Emma’s hobbies tend to rest solely in academia (with a few hyper fixations, of course), though she is known to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie. Never one to back down from a challenge, whether it be from jumping off yet another cliff or her role as Director of Equity - Emma is up for it all.
